just couldn’t end with Michael Afranie or Salinko. Oh yeah! It keeps on counting; as actress
Diamond Appiah popularly known as Diamondlicious or Ghana’s lady Gaga; just made it public her political ambitions.

The “Gaga-copycat”
who was shot to fame by her extreme “fashionism” which Gaga is best
known for, is running to be a member of parliament for the Trobu constituency.
As kwame Dzokoto is running on the ticket of the NDC with Michael Afanie going
independent and Salinko on the ticket of the Nduom-led party PPP,
Diamondlicious however is running on the ticket of UPP.
She
out-doored her political ambition in a sponsored post on Instagram, on which
she branded herself as a philanthropist, a musician, an actress, politician and
CEO of diamond cosmetics.
When news of
her candidacy was made known, lots of people took to social media saying “this
is the last straw” , “ is running for MP the new joke or what” were among the
least to mention amidst congratulatory messages.
But beitasitmay, when these
celebrities win their respective seats parliament is sure going to be an
interesting place. Should we put our counting fingers down or we should expect
to hear from more actors as the days go by. Well it’s worth the wait.
