Tip tip toe!
Congratulations to Ghana’s “natural girl”, Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda popularly known as Mzvee on her nominations for BET awards for
Best International Act. Aside being the only Ghanaian to chalk this “success” this year, she also happens to be the first ever Ghanaian female to be nominated in this category in the history of the BET. It is also interesting to know that her nomination has swayed the expectations of many. As a lot of people were betting on the Sarkodie. Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale or EL. BET awards sure comes with a lot of surprises
In an interview with UTV Ghana, the self-acclaimed dancehall Queen said she is very happy and that she gives it all to God. She also didn’t fail to tackle the speculations on her “worthiness” of the nomination that have sparked after announcements of the nominees. Albeit, we all should just be happy for the “hold me now” hit maker and throw our weight behind her as she will be contending with some of Africa’s hottest like Wizkid and Yemi Alade from Nigeria, AKA, Black Coffee and Cassper Nyovest from South Africa, Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania as well as Serge Beynaud from Ivory Coast. The said event will take place at the Microsoft Theater In Los Angeles, United States of America on Sunday, June 26. Good luck Queen Vee!
