Three students of the Opoku Ware Senior High School in the Ashanti region have been suspended indefinitely for allegedly being involved in homosexuality.
The suspected gay students formed part of the team that represented the school in the recent Vodafone icon inter schools music challenge.
The affected students were suspended after a disciplinary committee established they were homosexuals, after some students reportedly caught them red-handed and reported them to the authorities.
But one of the suspended students in an interview with Kasapa FM’s Ashanti regional correspondent Isaac Bediako Justice said they are being wrongly punished.
He claims that the allegations are untrue and questions why they are being punished f:or something they have not done, but ruled out the possibility of filing a suit against the school.

MICHAEL AFRANIE , KUMAWOOD ACTOR TO CONTEST AS MP 2016.
MICHAEL AFRANIE RUNS FOR MP AT AMANSIE WEST
Veteran
Ghanaian actor, Michael Afranie who has been off our screens for quite some
time now is now making headlines. The ace actor who has been known to dominate
the Kumawood industry sometime back is now the talk of the media; but this time
not as an actor but a politician. Yes! a
politician.
Michael will
be seen on the parliamentary ballot paper of the people of Amansie West constituency coming 7th December,
2016. Mr. Afranie is aspiring to be the Member of Parliament for the people of
Amansie West.
Surprisingly,
he isn’t running on either the ticket of the two major political parties in the
country nor is he running on the ticket of any minor party. The man is going
independence! Could he be leaning on his fame to outtake an NPP dominated
constituency? Well time could only tell.
His active
participation in politics surprisingly, didn’t come as a surprise to us as it
is just a reverb of popular actor and voiceover artist Kwame Djokoto who is also running for MP.
