TARRIFFS SHOOTS UP; GHANAIANS CRY. KONADU AGYEMANG ATTACKS MAHAMA

The woes of Ghanaians just got bigger as the Public Utility Regulatory Commission PURC, on Monday 7th December 2015 announced an increase in tariffs.  The said increment is to take effect from 14th December 2015.

The never reliable electricity couldn’t have gotten any worse; as electricity tariffs was shot up as high as 59.2%. This is surely a fulfillment of the “if you want quality, then prepare to pay more” statement released by the president some weeks ago. Water was however no exemption, as it saw a whopping 67.2% tariffs increment.

DR KWABENA DONKOR

KOFI KAPITO
Inalienably, influential politicians and stakeholders have released statements expressing sentiments about this unceremonious increase in tariffs. With Kofi Kapito, Chief Executive of  the Consumer Protection Agency charging the power Minister, Dr. Kwabena Donkor to resign. He further went on to urge Ghanaians to protest the increment.

NANA KONADU AGYEMAN RAWLINGS
Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, former first lady and founder and leader of the National Democratic Party, was however not left out as she took to social media to say John Mahama and his incompetent government is heartless for pursuing this increment. She ended by urging Ghanaians to be bold and say no to the NDC government.

NPP SLPITS; NEW PARTY CREATED?

The elephant fraternity receives a major blow. The opposition party, NPP sees doomsday as leading members shows signs and confirms suspicions of a possible split.

Reports from sources indicate that a new party, New Labour Party (NLP) has been formed out of the NPP. This split is said to have been spearheaded by supporters of Mr. Paul Afoko.

The said NLP is said to have the “hand” as its emblem. The NLP is said also to have major players in the Kuffour’s administration as its founding members and leaders.

The split is undoubtedly attributed to the suspension of the National Chairman Mr. Paul Afoko. Not only has the suspension of the chairman caused a split in the party but also countless instances of chaos and assault have been recorded.

Many NPP supporters have taking to social media to comment on this issue, with most of them saying this is a confirmation of the suspension they had from the onset about the spurious membership of the Chairman.
Although, neither party of this allegation has come out to take a stand, this allegation has gotten many trembling already as the confirmation of it could draw curtains on hopes of success coming 2016 for the NPP.

NANA ABA ANAMOAH RESIGNS!!!

NANA ABA ANAMOAH RESIGNS!!!……….HERE IS THE LETTER

Highly acclaimed journalist and presenter, Nana Aba Anamoah has resigned from the TV3 network; after TWELVE YEARS of “unquestionable loyalty and commitment”, she claimed.
After several weeks of suspension with no signs of a call-back, the ace presenter and newscaster  has now in a page of eight (8) paragraphs resigned from the network she has been with upon graduation.
Her suspension which came about as a result of what I would term a “fantasy-simulation” gone bad, got the management of TV3 network going wild and suspending her to that effect. But she, Nana Aba In the letter regarded her action as peripheral and not even connected to her job.
In the letter, she expressed disappointment at the decision taken by the board and management and also further went on to say she find the decision as a sign of ingratitude. As she had “sacrificed” her adult life and the desire to pursue other interest or further academic studies to the good of the network.
She enclosed the letter wishing the management, board and staff of TV3 the best of success. And a “thank you”.

Vis-ἀ-vis her resignation, during the time news about her suspension was boiling, Lawyer and TV presenter, Tweneboah Koduah speculated on the Adekye Nsoroma show on UTV that Nana Aba can speak good Twi . Could he be recommending her to his bosses? As the UTV network operates in the loal language Twi. Will we be seeing her soon on UTV? Your guess is as good as mine.

“THE VOTERS’ REGISTER IS BLOATTED”, NANA AKUFFO ADDO

“THE VOTERS’ REGISTER IS BLOATTED”, NANA AKUFFO ADDO

Leader and flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party, NPP for the 2016 general elections, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo addo says the voters’ register is way over bloated and this is in no two ways will for sure affect the outcome of the 2016 general election.
He further elaborated his claim, giving a substantive number of non citizens who by foul means have found their names in the register. Pointing out that, the Volta Region, Western Region and some parts of the Northern Region were point of entry for these invaders, laying major emphasis on the Volta Region.
Not resting on that claim, he further went on to give another shocking revelation. Giving a jaw-dropping figure of underage citizens who are registered voters and as such will take active participation in the coming general election.
In  latter talks, he said he care not who or what these unlawful voters may favour, “all I want is a fair election “ .
So                     what               is              the                 newly             appointed               EC                 boss                                                                       Mrs. Charllote Osei going to do about this situation. Her decision on this matter I believe should tell Ghanaians what to expect coming 2016.
