Congratulations to His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama as he today was honored with a degree of Doctor of Laws (LLD) (Honoris Causa) by the Aberdeen University,Scotland.The convocation which was part of his official visit to the Scotland took place at the University’s Kings College.
He was accompanied by the First Lady, Lordina Mahama, the Foreign Minister, Hanna S. Tetteh (MP), the Communications Minister, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah and the Education Minister Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyeman.

"Let me express, on behalf of the good people of Ghana, my wife Lordina and my family, appreciation to the Faculty and Staff for this recognition and honour done me. I consider this an honour for all Ghanaians and it is a reflection of the strides we have made as a people, both internationally and at home. I therefore dedicate this Doctor of Laws honorary degree to the people of Ghana."
